Tango in the Spring aims for social tango nirvana. Our milonga program is based around good traditional tango music from experienced DJs in a comfortable and attractive venue. Plus, we have a few extra social activities for your enjoyment.
Friday September 30 (Albert Hall)
- Welcome drinks: 7pm
- Welcome Milonga with José Argañarás as DJ: 8pm–1am
Saturday October 1 (Albert Hall)
- Argentinian street-food style lunch catered by Chimmi: 12pm-2pm (extra ticket required)
- Lomito slider (Milk bun, rocket, tomato, cheese, scotch fillet steak and chimichurri)
- Chorizo slider (Milk bun, chorizo, salsa criolla, and chimichurri)
- Chicken empanada
- Patagonia empanada (Lamb and mushrooms)
- 2 sliders: (Milk bun, grilled halloumi, salsa criolla, and chimichurri.)
- 2 empanadas (Spinach, pumpkin and fetta.)
- Practica hosted by the Tango Social Club of Canberra: 2pm-5pm (free public event)
- Milonga with Fabián Conca as DJ: 8pm–1am
