Tangalo – live music on Sunday 2012

We’ve confirmed fantastic Australian tango band Tangalo, to play at our Sunday afternoon event: 2-4 pm, in the foyer of the National Library of Australia. (NB this will be open to the public, and there will only be about 60 seats available.)  DJ Yuko will play a couple of great tandas between the live music  Though this isn’t a formal milonga (and definitely not a practica!), there will be an area set aside for dancing.

Tangalo is a Tango Quintet who play great  traditional argentine tango for social dances, as well as nuevo tango for concerts and functions.  They played to enraptured crowds calling for encore after encore at the National Folk Festival’s Bohemia Bar this year.
