2008: Asado – vegetarian option. [Asado bookings closed 19 September.]

For the optional Asado for Saturday lunch, we’ve now got the vegetarian menu.

Remember, this is a fundraiser for rural Argentine schools, put on by local charity Puente Austral.  So think of it as giving back to Argentina, as well as having a great lunch before practica!

Vegetarian Menu

  • Entree: an Empanada de Humita (corn, capsicum, onion and tomato)
  • Tarta de spinacas y queso con pimiento y ceboll (Spinach and cheese pie with capsicum and onion) 
  • Tofu (marinated in soy sauce)
  • Zucchini and  eggplant brochettes
  • salad and bread
  • 1 alfajor with pasta frola as dessert

Beer, wine and soft drinks will be on sale.
